Installation Guide

Easiest option. The Modrinth App is the simplest way to install — it handles everything automatically including Java.
1
Download the Modrinth App

Head to modrinth.com/app and download the installer for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).

2
Install and open the app

Run the installer and open the Modrinth App. Sign in with your Modrinth account, or create one for free if you don't have one.

3
Find the Bruz Experience modpack

Click Browse in the sidebar, then search for Bruz Experience. Click the modpack when it appears.

4
Install the modpack

Click Install. The app will download all mods and configure everything automatically. This may take a few minutes depending on your internet speed.

5
Launch and connect

Click Play next to the modpack. Once in the Minecraft menu, go to Multiplayer → Add Server and enter the server IP.

Recommended for most players. Prism is free, open source, and has native Modrinth support built in.
1
Download Prism Launcher

Go to prismlauncher.org and download the installer for your OS. Install it and open it up.

2
Set up Java

On first launch, Prism will guide you through setting up Java. Select Java 21 — if it's not found automatically, download it from adoptium.net.

Under Settings → Java, set the minimum memory to 4096 MB and maximum to 6144 MB or higher.
3
Add a new instance from Modrinth

Click Add Instance in the top left. Select Modrinth from the left panel. Search for Bruz Experience and select it.

4
Install the instance

Click OK. Prism will download all mods and set up the instance. Wait for it to finish — you'll see it appear in your instances list.

5
Launch and connect

Double-click the instance to launch. Once in the Minecraft menu, go to Multiplayer → Add Server and enter:

Good alternative. ATLauncher supports Modrinth packs directly from its instance creator.
1
Download ATLauncher

Go to atlauncher.com and download the launcher for your OS. Install and open it.

2
Log in with your Microsoft account

Click Accounts in the top right and sign in with your Microsoft / Minecraft account.

3
Create a new instance from Modrinth

Go to the Instances tab and click Create Instance. Choose Modrinth as the source, then search for Bruz Experience.

4
Install and set RAM

Select the pack and click Install. Once done, right-click the instance → Edit InstanceJava/Minecraft and set RAM to at least 4096 MB.

5
Launch and connect

Click Play on the instance. In Minecraft go to Multiplayer → Add Server and enter:

play.bruz.org Click to copy
Manual method. MultiMC doesn't have native Modrinth support so you'll import the pack as a .mrpack file downloaded from Modrinth.
1
Download MultiMC

Go to multimc.org and download MultiMC for your OS. Extract and open it.

2
Download the .mrpack file

Go to the Bruz Experience page on Modrinth. Click Download and save the .mrpack file somewhere easy to find.

3
Import the pack into MultiMC

In MultiMC click Add Instance → Import from zip. Browse to the .mrpack file you downloaded and click OK.

4
Set Java and RAM

Right-click the instance → Edit Instance → Settings. Enable Java installation override and select Java 21. Set minimum memory to 4096 MB.

5
Launch and connect

Double-click the instance to launch. Go to Multiplayer → Add Server and enter the server address:
