How to Install Voicechat
Firstly, you need to download the listed items below:
Once all items have finished downloading, Open the Fabric Installer jar file and you will be prompted a window.
Inside the window; Make sure the latest version is selected for both Minecraft Version & Loader Version.
Click Install and Fabric loader should be installed correctly.
If installation doesn't work, make sure your Minecraft Launcher and Minecraft are closed.
Up next you need to open your minecraft folder
For Windows Users:
Press ⊞ Windows
+ R
.
Type %APPDATA%\.minecraft
and click "OK".
This is your minecraft Folder
For Mac Users:
Open Finder and press ⇧ Shift
+ ⌘ Command
+ G
Type in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
and hit ↵ Enter
This is your minecraft folder.
This applies to both Windows and Mac Users
Inside your minecraft folder. If you have a mods
folder, Place your FabricAPI.jar
and voicechat-fabric.jar
files inside this folder
If you do not have a mods
folder. Simply create a new folder named "mods" and place FabricAPI.jar
and voicechat-fabric.jar
inside this folder.
Once you have completed these steps, Open your Minecraft Launcher, At the top of the page, click Installations then click New Installation
.
You can name it whatever you want. For the Version, select release fabric-loader-12345
The numbers in fabric-loader-12345
represent the fabricAPI version and Minecraft version. these will be different depending on when you read this. At the time of this guide the version is fabric-loader-0.15.11-1.21.
Once done, Click Create, Navigate back to the Play page. Next to the PLAY button make sure you select the installation you just created. After that press PLAY
